Think you’ve got talent? What to show it off to your schoolmates? Then the Monarch Talent Show is for you! In order to been given the opportunity to audition for this year’s show, please fill out an application and return it to Ms. Noriega in room G-1 or the Counseling Center no later than 3:30 pm on Wednesday, January 11^th. If your application is approved, you’ll be scheduled for an audition in the MPR on either Tuesday, January 24^th or Wednesday, January 25^th. You CANNOT audition if you do not turn in an application by the deadline! Please note, if you have N’s or U’s in citizenship on your last report card or on the upcoming progress report, you will not be allowed to audition for or perform in the show. The show will be held on Thursday, February, 23^rd.

 

*Please note: Not all acts that audition will be selected to take part in our show. Due to show time constraints and our wish to include a wide variety of acts, we only accept a limited about of vocal acts. Competition is fierce so be prepared! Absolutely NO lip-syncing will be allowed. All music must be clean and appropriate for school, as does audition attire. ASB cannot edit songs for you. If a clean version of a song and/or the karaoke version of the song cannot be provided by you, your act will not be chosen for the talent show. In addition, all costumes must follow our district’s dress code guidelines.
